Train Simulator: Class 390 EMU Add-On Activation Code [hacked]

Updated: Dec 9, 2020

About This Content The Class 390 is a modern classic, and you can experience the speed of this powerful tilting express train from the driver’s seat in Train Simulator. The Class 390 is one of the fastest electric multiple units operating in Britain. The set can reach 140 mph, whilst featuring tilting train technology to allow higher speeds around bends. At present, the Class 390 operates along the West Coast Main Line and is well-known to commuters and railfans alike for its sleek looks and high performance. In 2006 a Class 390 set a new speed record along the West Coast Main Line, completing the 401-mile trip from London to Glasgow in 3 hours and 55 minutes, and in usual operation the sets will run up to 125mph where track conditions allow. The Class 390 for Train Simulator recreates the smooth high performance well-known to drivers on the West Coast Main Line, and features a realistic tilting function which mimics the action of the real thing.Includes:Class 390 tilting electric multiple unit in Crimson Lake, Navy & Orange and Intercity Swallow liveriesA complete train is made up of the following vehicles:Driving Motor Second Open Motor Second Open Pantograph Trailer Second Restaurant / Mini Buffet Motor Second Open Trailer Second Open Motor First Open Pantograph Trailer First Open Motor First Open Disabled Driving Motor Restaurant First Open 6d5b4406ea Title: Train Simulator: Class 390 EMU Add-OnGenre: SimulationDeveloper:Dovetail GamesPublisher:Dovetail Games - TrainsFranchise:Train SimulatorRelease Date: 1 Aug, 2012 Train Simulator: Class 390 EMU Add-On Activation Code [hacked] This is an amazing train BUT... many of the included career scenarios are all but impossible to complete unless you want to spend the time saving and reloading all the way from Gretna to Motherwell because in career mode even non EPS speeds will see your score wiped out by penalties and to get round the various bends like Elvanfoot curve etc you have to drop to absurd speeds of 70mph whilst you in a class 86 could go round the same bends considerably faster without incurring one penalty.Yet saying that, in standard mode, it is still a very sleek, very powerful train, far better in my opinion than the Voyager or 801, a shame the speed set control doesn't auto brake like other ones e.g. class 91, 90 etc does on speed set control but it is a very well modelled, superb crafted train set nevertheless and in other liveries looks gorgeous. If you are a points and medal zealot like myself then this will frustrate you in career mode but still in other modes it is a pleasure to drive, very predictable and my one hope is that DTG will pay some lurve to this, add more functionality to the train, fix the drive quality issues and bring it into the realm of an updated 2015 ready unit.. Not a bad train but not really great either. Requires a large amount of throttle just to even get moving and idiling just activates the brakes. Colour scheme's are nice but without the branding they do look a tad bland at times. Majority of the buttons are just for show and unusable. However the tilt feature having a off\/on feature it makes no difference despites the EPS boards clearing you to 110-125mph any curve sections result in rapid braking and dropping anywhere between 10-50mph in speed to avoid getting brutally penalised for drive quality despite older NON TILTING loco's and rollingstock taking the same curves at higher speeds than yourself without being punished.I guess you'll be thinking in terms of why did he bother buying it then? why not just get a refund? It's rather simple really.1: Instead of the old price of $19.99 it's now $8.99 making it much more tempting to buy.2: Provides more options while browsing scenarios in the workshop.3: Nothing wrong with having more trains to choose even if their just sitting in the background.4: Most importantly it puts you that much closer to using Just Trains and Armstrong Powerhouse scenarios and routes since the Class 390 is required.. Stupid liveries, bad sound but tilting high-speed trains is cool!. Not a bad train but not really great either. The scenarios for this loco have a major flaw. The speed limits seem to be to high because the game gives a lot of "driving quality" penalties when going through curves. That makes most scenarios nearly impossible to finish with gold. Also the 390 itself is pretty basic. It doesn't have any unique features but it also lacks some basic functions, e.g. in-cab lighting and the headlights don't really cast any light onto the terrain. This DLC needs fixing but I wouldn't expect DTG to care since it's been around broken since 2012.. Once upon a time,Came a broken train,Then it got fixed,If you buy it again. Now DTG have your money,They thought it would be funny,Enjoy your new train,Because it's exactly the same.
